Datarails Brings Governed Financial Data to Google Sheets
Datarails has expanded its FinanceOS platform to include native integration with Google Sheets, allowing finance teams using Google Workspace to connect planning, reporting, and analysis workflows directly to Datarails' financial data platform.
The integration provides organizations standardized on Google Sheets with access to the same governed financial data layer that Excel users have been enjoying. This means finance teams can now use their existing spreadsheet workflows without having to move them to another application.
'Most finance teams face a challenge of scattered spreadsheets reflecting several versions of the truth,' said Didi Gurfinkel, co-founder and CEO of Datarails. 'What doesn't change is that finance teams need a trusted data layer ensuring every AI output is accurate, governed, repeatable, and auditable.'
The integration allows users to build financial models using Datarails formulas, create connected tables and reports, and add custom columns that remain intact when data is refreshed. Administrators can also apply global filters to control which data is available within individual spreadsheets.
