Delaware Judge Shifts Google MDL Coverage Suit to California

A Delaware state judge has issued a ruling in favor of Google, staying a lawsuit brought by American International Group (AIG) subsidiaries seeking a declaration that they're not liable for covering Google's defense costs tied to social-media addiction multidistrict litigation.

The AIG subsidiaries had filed the suit, arguing that they should not be required to cover Google's defense costs in the multidistrict litigation. However, Judge

the lawsuit's venue in Delaware, stating that it belongs in California instead.
