Delaware Residents Get Free Access to Google's AI Training and Job Skills
Google has partnered with the State of Delaware to provide residents with free access to AI and career training. The collaboration involves working alongside the Delaware Department of Labor and Delaware Libraries to offer no-cost online training programs.
The training includes Google Career Certificates in high-demand fields such as cybersecurity, data analytics, digital marketing, IT support, project management, and UX design. Additionally, residents can access Google AI courses, which cover foundational offerings like using AI tools for everyday productivity and writing effective prompts.
Graduates of the Career Certificate program gain direct access to a platform connecting them with over 150 major U.S. companies, including Deloitte, Siemens, and Wells Fargo. According to Google, more than 70% of Career Certificate graduates report a positive career outcome within six months of completing the program.
The training is flexible, self-paced, and typically takes three to six months to complete on a part-time schedule. Delaware residents can learn more and apply for a no-cost learning license through the Delaware Department of Labor website.
