Nvidia has announced that its Vera CPUs will be supplied to SpaceXAI, a subsidiary of Elon Musk's SpaceX. The partnership aims to accelerate the development of next-generation agentic artificial intelligence (AI) models.

The Vera CPU is designed to efficiently scale towards gigawatts (GW) of computing capacity and features 88 Nvidia-designed Olympus cores and Spatial Multithreading technology. It also uses high-bandwidth LPDDR5X memory, delivering bandwidth of up to 1.2 terabytes per second (TB/s).

SpaceXAI President Mike Nicolls stated that the Vera CPU will enable higher-performance AI agents and more useful work from every watt of compute. The processor will be deployed in one of the world's most ambitious AI infrastructure projects.
