Delta Reveals Top 10 Longest Boeing 767 Routes with Block Times Exceeding 11 Hours

Delta Air Lines has released its list of top 10 longest Boeing 767 routes for the period between August 2026 and March 2027. The two longest routes are from New York's JFK airport to Honolulu in Hawaii, with a maximum block time of 11 hours and six minutes, and from Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport back to JFK, which operates on a seasonal basis.

The Boeing 767-300ER is used for the daily flights from JFK to Honolulu, while the Boeing 767-400ER is deployed for the seasonal route between Athens and New York. Delta's Senior Vice President of Europe, Middle East & Africa, Perry Cantarutti, stated that the summer seasonal flight between Athens and New York offers customers more choice, nonstop convenience, and onward connections to more destinations in the US than any other carrier.

The next four longest routes serve Atlanta, with Milan Malpensa being the longest at a maximum of 10 hours and 59 minutes. The Boeing 767-400ER is used for this route, as well as for flights from Munich Franz Josef Strauß Airport back to Atlanta. Venice in Italy is also a significant destination for Delta's Boeing 767 operations, with a maximum schedule block time of 10 hours and 49 minutes.

The remaining routes that round out the top ten are split between New York JFK and Atlanta, with passengers flying from Catania and Malta to JFK experiencing maximum block times of over 10 hours. The Barcelona-Atlanta route uses the Boeing 767-400ER and takes a maximum of 10 hours and 35 minutes.
