DFW Airport Unveils Major Expansion of Premium Lounges
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is experiencing an expansion of premium lounges in Terminals C and D, as well as the under-construction Terminal F. According to DFW Airport CEO Scott McLaughlin, 'We continue to advance one of the nation's most comprehensive premium lounge portfolios, with more than 20 existing spaces and a planned 45% expansion in total lounge space over the next few years.'
Among these new additions is American Airlines' largest Admirals Club lounge, located within Terminal C. The 37,000 square foot space will feature various seating options, workspaces, chef-inspired menu offerings, expanded all-day food options, and a selection of specialty cocktails, coffee, and champagne.
Additionally, American Express will expand its Centurion Lounge in Terminal D by nearly 50% with the addition of more seating, a new dining area, a walk-up ice cream window, and a second full-service bar. The estimated completion date for this $35 million project is November 19, 2027.
The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, located behind security in Terminal D, offers an 18,000 square foot space with a bar area, whiskey lounge, relaxation pods, and dining options through a partnership with Dallas-based restaurant Encina. Plaza Premium Group has also opened two new lounges inside Terminal D, including the first of its kind in the United States, the Plaza Premium First Lounge.
