DHL and Singapore Airlines Extend Boeing 777 Freight Partnership
DHL Express and Singapore Airlines have extended their partnership for five Boeing 777 freighters based at Singapore Changi Airport. The agreement, which was renewed on September 24, 2026, will see SIA pilots continue to operate the aircraft, while SIA engineers oversee maintenance.
The five Boeing 777 freighters connect DHL's South Asia Hub in Singapore with key destinations in the United States, strengthening air cargo links between the Asia-Pacific and global markets. Each aircraft can carry up to 102 tons of cargo, making them among the world's largest, longest range, and most capable twin-engine freighters.
The partnership reflects both companies' confidence in the long-term growth of international trade and the central role of reliable air connectivity in supporting global supply chains.
