DHL and Singapore Airlines Extend Boeing Freight Partnership
DHL Express and Singapore Airlines have extended their partnership for five Boeing 777 freighters based at Changi Airport in Singapore. The agreement, which was first established in 2022, will continue to provide reliable air capacity for DHL's intercontinental network.
The five freighters, each capable of carrying up to 102 tonnes of cargo, support DHL's South Asia Hub in Singapore and connect it with key destinations across the United States. The partnership highlights the importance of reliable air connectivity in supporting global supply chains.
DHL Executive Vice President Travis Cobb stated that the renewal underscores the company's commitment to network capacity, while Lee Lik Hsin, Chief Commercial Officer of Singapore Airlines, noted that the agreement reflects the strength of a partnership that has supported express air freight movement between Asia-Pacific and global markets via Singapore since 2022.
