DHL Express has launched a direct daily cargo flight between Shanghai and Bangkok on August 11, 2026. The new Boeing 767 freighter service aims to boost air cargo capacity across regional trade routes.

The route will increase connectivity among manufacturing, sourcing, and consumption markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. It is operated by a DHL Boeing 767 freighter with a maximum payload of 50 tons.

According to Peter Bardens, Senior Vice President for Network Operations & Aviation, Asia Pacific at DHL Express, 'This route is a direct response to how trade flows in Asia are shifting.'

The new flight route is part of DHL's ongoing investments in network capacity and infrastructure. It reflects the company's constant review of evolving trade patterns and swift action to adapt to those changes.
