JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is spearheading a new effort to bring together major U.S. companies to address AI-related risks in critical infrastructure sectors.

The initiative, which began in July, includes over 40 companies across various industries such as financial services, energy, and telecommunications.

The Alliance for Critical Infrastructure (ACI), a group established by JPMorgan, has expanded its scope to focus on AI-related issues, including risks and safeguards. The ACI aims to work with the Trump administration on these matters.

Dimin said that the ACI leadership recognized the importance of prioritizing AI 'years ago' and got critical infrastructure companies working together.
