JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is rallying major US companies to join forces and address the risks associated with artificial intelligence (AI). The effort, which began in July, aims to build a shared understanding of how AI is being used, its potential risks, and necessary safeguards.

The Alliance for Critical Infrastructure (ACI), a group JPMorgan helped establish, has been expanding its focus on AI-related work. The alliance now includes over 40 companies from various sectors, including financial services, energy, and telecommunications, that rely heavily on technology.

Recent cyberattacks on water systems in Minnesota have underscored the need for greater information sharing across industries. The ACI is working with the Trump administration to address these emerging challenges.
