JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon believes India's economy could triple in size over the next decade. Speaking at the JPMorgan India Investor Conference, Dimon said he expects India's economy to grow significantly, with a possible tripling of its current size.
Dimon also highlighted the growth of JPMorgan's operations in India, which have expanded tenfold since his first visit in 2005. The bank now employs 60,000 people across various technical areas and investment banking.
He emphasized the importance of completing the proposed trade agreement between India and the US, citing stability and predictable rules as essential for businesses to make long-term investments.
