Disney Alum Returns Home, Takes Stage at Erie County Fair
Bryan Wittman, a former Disney executive, returned to his hometown in New York and took the stage at the Erie County Fair where he started his career 50 years ago. The Hamburg native worked for Walt Disney Company as corporate vice president of global special events, leading events and productions across the country.
During his time with Disney, Wittman led events such as the 50th anniversary of Disneyland's opening, which he described as an unforgettable moment. He recalled walking through the park alone in the early morning hours of July 17, a day that marked the actual birthday of Walt Disney's iconic theme park.
Now as president of Dry Creek Group, a marketing consulting firm, Wittman expressed his gratitude for coming back to where it all started and performing with the Ramblin' Lou Family Band. He sang John Denver's 'Country Roads,' a song that resonated deeply with him. Wittman noted that technology has impacted the entertainment industry but emphasized that great music, stories, and performers continue to captivate audiences across generations.
