Disney and Epic Games Unite for Fortnite Meets Millennium Falcon

Disney and Epic Games are teaming up for a groundbreaking new activation that brings Fortnite to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The experience, called Smugglers Gambit, connects the Star Wars-themed attraction at Disney's Galaxy's Edge to an all-new adventure in Fortnite.

Guests who ride the attraction on Disneyland Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios will be able to collect crates during their ride that can be redeemed for rewards in Smugglers Gambit. The game lets players become one of the Outer Rim's most infamous smugglers, exploring Mersa Veta Station and taking on quests across Ord Ryla.

The cockpit technology behind Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run was built using Unreal Engine 5 by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with Industrial Light & Magic. As a result, many of the same authentic assets from the ride have been brought into the Fortnite island.
