Disney and Fortnite Unite for Star Wars Adventure

Disney and Fortnite are teaming up for a first-of-its-kind connected adventure that combines the physical world of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort with the digital world of Fortnite.

The experience, called Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run | Fortnite, was announced during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event presented by Visa. It allows guests to continue their adventure beyond Batuu in the Millennium Falcon attraction or start a new mission on planet Ord Ryla in Fortnite.

The collaboration between Disney Games and Digital Entertainment and Lucasfilm resulted in the creation of Smugglers Gambit, a brand-new Fortnite island set around Mersa Veta Station. Players will team up with friends to complete co-op missions, battle pirates and Imperial remnants, encounter wildlife, unlock new gear, and build their reputation across the Outer Rim.

The experience is included at no additional cost with valid theme park admission and launches on Sunday, August 16, 2026, when the parks open. To take part, guests can accept a special mission in the attraction queue using the Disneyland app or My Disney Experience app, or in the Smugglers Gambit island in Fortnite.
