Disney and Meta to Keynote MM+M Media Summit in October
The 2026 MM+M Media Summit, a leading conference on health media planning and buying, will take place on October 29 in New York City. The event will feature keynote presentations from Disney and Meta, two of the biggest names in entertainment and social media.
Mary Sheehan, VP of category solutions at Disney Advertising, will open the summit with a discussion on how pharmaceutical companies can leverage Disney's platforms to reach audiences. Sheehan will be joined by Katrina Gary, senior director of patient marketing and engagement at Argenx. Disney's upcoming broadcast of the 2027 Super Bowl on ABC and ESPN, which is expected to have the largest streaming audience in history, will be a key topic.
Matt Baczyk, head of industry for Meta Health, will deliver the closing keynote. He will explore how the patient journey has evolved, its impact on pharmaceutical organizations, and the slow adoption of creator marketing by brands. Baczyk leads Meta's Health team, which advises partners in pharma, telehealth, and wellness on engaging patients and physicians.
The summit will also include speakers from major pharmaceutical companies like Novo Nordisk, Bayer, Genentech, Amgen, and GSK. Jameson Fleming, editorial director of MM+M and Campaign, emphasized the importance of having leading media and social platforms keynote the event each year.
