Disney Animation Unveils 'Clay' with Kieran Culkin as Unlikely Mentor

The Walt Disney Animation Studios has announced its latest feature film, 'Clay', now in production. Fawn Veerasunthorn directs and Peter Del Vecho produces the original story, set to hit theaters in November 2028.

Kieran Culkin voices Flip, a rebellious misfit who is chosen against his will to mentor a young ball of clay named Mushy during a yearly ritual. The pair embark on a chaotic adventure through a magical forest filled with fantastical creatures.

Disney Animation chief creative officer Jared Bush explained the film's concept, stating that they asked themselves, 'What if the next Disney mentor stunk?'
