Disney Announces Anime Series Based on Kingdom Hearts
A new anime series based on the 'Kingdom Hearts' video game franchise has been announced by Disney. The show will be developed in partnership with Square Enix, the creators of the games. The series will re-imagine the iconic adventure with a brand-new story that expands on the universe of 'Kingdom Hearts'.
The announcement was made during the Disney Entertainment Showcase at D23 on Friday. A teaser image for the show was also revealed. The series is being developed by an all-star creative team, including Tetsuya Nomura, who worked closely with Square Enix to bring the game to life.
