Disney Announces Celebrity Narrators for Epcot Candlelight Processional
Walt Disney World has announced its lineup of celebrity narrators for the Epcot Candlelight Processional. The annual event celebrates the Christmas story, accompanied by a 51-piece orchestra and a choir made up of 150 Disney cast members and community singers.
This year's narrators include Auli'i Cravalho, known for her role in 'Moana', who will kick off the rotation on November 27 and 29. Other notable names include Eva Longoria, Whoopi Goldberg, and Henry Winkler, all of whom have been part of the event before.
Newcomers to the lineup include Jason Kelce, an American football player for the Philadelphia Eagles, who will take the stage on December 8 and 9. Robin Roberts and Lacey Chabert are also making their debut as narrators this year.
The Epcot Candlelight Processional is part of the park's larger International Festival of the Holidays, which runs from November 27 to December 30. The event has a rich history, dating back to Disneyland in 1958, and has featured notable narrators over the years, including Cary Grant, John Wayne, and Jimmy Stewart.
