Disney Announces Narrators for Epcot Candlelight Processional
Walt Disney World has announced its lineup of narrators for the Epcot Candlelight Processional, a holiday tradition that dates back to 1958. The event features a reading of Jesus' birth accompanied by a 51-piece orchestra and a choir made up of 150 Disney cast members and community singers.
This year's narrators include Auli'i Cravalho, the voice of Moana, who will kick off the rotation on November 27 and 29. Eva Longoria will close out the shows from December 28 to 30. Other notable narrators include Whoopi Goldberg, Henry Winkler, and Jason Kelce, the Philadelphia Eagles center.
The performances are part of the International Festival of the Holidays at Epcot, which runs from November 27 to December 30 and features international holiday observances, food, music, and legends. The Candlelight Processional has been a staple of Disney's holiday celebrations for over 55 years, with the first one held in 1958.
