Disney Announces New EPCOT Vinyl Album Release in October 2026

The Walt Disney Company is releasing a new 2LP vinyl album titled 'The Music of EPCOT' in October 2026. The album will be inspired by the original 1983 'The Official Album of EPCOT Center' and will feature a mix of old school EPCOT music and modern EPCOT tracks, including 'Listen to the Land', 'New Horizons', 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind', and 'Remy's Ratatouille Adventure'. The album will also include rare audio recordings of Walt Disney talking about his vision for EPCOT.

The vinyl release is part of a joint effort between Disney Music Emporium and Walt Disney Records, and guests attending the 2026 D23 Expo will have the chance to preorder the album at the Disney Music Booth in Hall B. The language of the announcement suggests that guests of the expo will receive free shipping on their preordered albums.

The original 'The Official Album of EPCOT Center' was released in 1983 and featured a mix of original songs created for the park, including 'Main Entrance Medley', 'Golden Dream', 'Energy (You Make the World Go 'Round)', and more. The album is considered an important musical milestone in the history of The Walt Disney Company.
