Disney+ Announces Packed August Lineup with Lollapalooza Livestreams and More
Disney+ is gearing up for an exciting August lineup, featuring something for every type of viewer.
The streaming service will continue to livestream the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, with the last two days headlined by artists like Olivia Dean and Tate McRae. Additionally, Disney+ will host the streaming premiere for National Geographic's documentary 'Time and Water'.
On August 5th, a new animated Star Wars series titled 'The Ninth Jedi' will be released, along with the third season of 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place', all episodes available at once. The second episode of X-Men '97 will air on this day as well.
The month will also see the addition of Pokémon: Indigo League, which will be available to stream starting August 7th. This is a significant win for Disney, as they recently snagged the U.S. streaming and broadcast rights to the franchise.
