Disney Archives Unveils Rare Treasures at D23 Event

The Walt Disney Archives has opened its doors to fans at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. For over half a century, the archives have collected and preserved Disney history. This year's event features an exhibit called 'Uncrated,' which allows guests to explore themed displays of iconic props, costumes, and puppets from beloved films and TV shows.

The exhibit is divided into several areas, including 'Delivery' for sitcoms like 'Dinosaurs' and 'Fresh off the Boat'; 'Receiving & Processing' for fashion items; 'Object Storage' for sci-fi and Muppets; and 'Magical Containment' for Disney's magical moments.

In each area, guests will find over 200 objects on display. The exhibit also features live unboxing events where a mystery box is opened to reveal a surprise from the Walt Disney Archives collection.
