Disney Auction Nets Over $100K for Rare Theme Park Items

The Disney Experiences Auction- Rare and Remarkable Finds featured items from beloved theme park attractions that have since closed, including the original Disney California Adventure version of the Tower of Terror and Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The auction, hosted by Bret Iwan (official voice of Mickey Mouse, Disney Fine Artist), included live and online bidding of verified pieces from Disney's theme parks and resorts. The items up for sale came from various attractions, such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride vehicles and a Tomorrowland trash can.

The most notable items sold at the auction were two Muppet*Vision 3D items: Kermit the Frog statue and Miss Piggy Statue, both of which sold for over $73,000. The Tomorrowland Trash Can sold for $10,980, while other items like a customized Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride cart sold for $79,300.
