Disney Awards Grants to Support Gorilla Conservation Efforts Across Africa
The Disney Conservation Fund has awarded $100,000 in grants to three gorilla conservation organizations: GRACE, Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, and Gorilla Doctors.
The funding will support gorilla conservation efforts across Africa, including rehabilitation, veterinary care, scientific research, and community-based protection programs.
Claire Martin, Senior Manager of Biodiversity Conservation at The Walt Disney Company, said protecting gorillas requires collaboration among conservation organizations, researchers, veterinarians, educators, and local communities.
The grants build on the Disney Conservation Fund's 30-year commitment to wildlife conservation and its history of supporting organizations that protect gorilla populations and their habitats.
