'Spider-Man: A New Day' broke multiple records, including surpassing the $1 billion mark in its first week of release. It also set several records in North America and worldwide, with box office receipts exceeding $1.26 billion as of the second weekend.

D'Amaro congratulated Sony, Kevin Feige, and the staff of Marvel Studios on the film's success, stating that it shows audiences have not lost interest in superhero films and are ready to return to cinemas en masse for major events.
