Disney Cruise Line has unveiled details about its upcoming ship, the Disney Believe, set to embark on its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027. The ship will feature the first stage adaptation of the popular film Encanto, as announced by Disney Legend and Grammy-winning songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda. Additionally, guests can enjoy a Frozen-themed dinner show called Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, offering a unique dining experience with reimagined renditions of famous tunes from the Frozen soundtracks.
The Disney Believe will home port at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will offer 4- and 5-night voyages to the Bahamas and Caribbean. The ship will include a variety of themed dining options, such as 1923, an animation-inspired restaurant, and Worlds of Marvel, an interactive Marvel dining experience. The ship will also feature a new Inside Out-inspired sweet shop with expanded emotions from the franchise’s second film.
Entertainment options on the Disney Believe include Broadway-caliber shows like Tangled: The Musical with new effects and sets, and an original show called Disney Seas the Adventure. The ship will also have themed lounges inspired by classic Disney stories, such as Wishing Well, a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs-inspired lounge, and Sea Notes, a piano bar inspired by The Little Mermaid.
Bookings for the general public will open on October 19, 2026, with repeat guests in the cruise line's free Castaway Club able to book as early as October 12, 2026, depending on their status. The Disney Believe will be the fourth ship in Disney's Wish class, following the Disney Destiny, which is set to move to Port Canaveral next fall.
