Disney Believe Cruise Ship Teases New Themes and Experiences
Disney has begun teasing new experiences for its upcoming cruise ship, the Disney Believe, set to debut in late 2027. The ship, the fifth in the Wish-class fleet, will focus on characters who "dare to dream and believe in themselves," with promotional materials featuring Moana, Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, and The Little Mermaid. A scavenger hunt on the Disney Wish cruise ship provided clues about the new ship’s design, including a Polynesian-inspired Grand Hall with Moana, Pua, and Heihei as the centerpiece. Unlike previous Wish-class ships, the Disney Believe will feature Tinker Bell on the bow instead of Mickey or Minnie, along with Woody and Buzz on the stern.
The scavenger hunt also hinted at new restaurants, lounges, and entertainment venues, though details remain undisclosed. Participants discovered themed drinks, such as an Evil Queen-inspired mocktail, suggesting potential tributes to Snow White and other characters. Additional clues pointed to Tangled, Inside Out, The Little Mermaid, and other Disney franchises, indicating a fresh approach beyond the previously confirmed themes.
Disney Signature Experiences President Natacha Rafalski shared that the ship’s hull is being constructed in Papenburg, Germany, with a special coin inserted for good luck, following maritime tradition. Guests can expect new food and beverage offerings, including a Little Mermaid-inspired drink and a bubble-topped gin cocktail. A special livestream on October 7, 2026, will reveal more details about the ship’s homeport, itineraries, and entertainment.
