Disney Breaks Four-Year Sellout Streak for Halloween Party

The streak of sold-out Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party events at Walt Disney World has finally come to an end.

For four consecutive years, every party night had reached capacity by September 24. However, this year, tickets remained available for the August 30 event, making it the first time since 2022 that a party night did not sell out.

The $149 party was among the cheaper dates offered during the 2026 season, yet tickets were still available while guests had already purchased every ticket for more expensive dates later in the fall. This could suggest that guests are becoming more selective about which nights they choose to attend.

Disney faced considerable competition that weekend from Universal Orlando Resort's Halloween Horror Nights and SeaWorld Orlando's seasonal entertainment, as well as heavy rain that may have made a last-minute ticket purchase less appealing for an event featuring several outdoor experiences.
