Disney Brings Lakeshore Lodge Magic to NYC with Interactive 3D Mural
A new Disney experience has arrived in New York City, courtesy of Disney Experiences. The company has created an expansive 3D street mural in Flatiron Plaza, which will be available for New Yorkers to check out today, October 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the corner of 23rd Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan.
The installation was created by renowned American street muralist Tracy Lee Stum, known for her colorful and interactive 3D chalk art. Stum has received numerous awards and accolades for her work around the globe, including a 2006 Guinness World Record for the largest chalk painting by an individual.
The 3D mural brings to life the beauty of Disney's upcoming Lakeshore Lodge resort hotel at Walt Disney World Resort. The resort will celebrate the natural world through the eyes of Disney artists and storytellers when it opens next summer. Guests can step into the eye-catching sidewalk image and capture photos and videos of themselves enjoying the relaxing signature experiences that will be a part of this resort.
