Disney Brings Lazy River Magic to Manhattan

Disney is promoting its upcoming Lakeshore Lodge resort at Walt Disney World through a 3D street mural in New York City. The mural, located at Flatiron Plaza, depicts the resort's planned Daydream River lazy river and was created by Tracy Lee Stum.

Visitors can pose for photos and video at the corner of 23rd Street and 5th Avenue on October 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The mural is inspired by Walt Disney's love of nature, which is reflected in the design influences from classic Disney films such as 'Bambi,' 'Pocahontas,' 'Encanto,' and 'Brother Bear.'

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will open on July 1, 2027, and will feature 967 thoughtfully designed rooms, including intimate studios and spacious villas with natural materials and earthy color palettes.
