Disney Celebrates 55-Year Milestones with Limited Edition Resort Pins
The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is celebrating a significant milestone - the 55th anniversary of two of its iconic resorts, the Contemporary and Polynesian Village. Both hotels opened on October 1, 1971, along with Magic Kingdom, marking a major expansion for the Disney brand.
To commemorate this occasion, limited edition pins have been released featuring the anniversary logo. The Contemporary Resort pin features Mickey in front of the iconic original building, while the Polynesian Village Resort pin showcases Mickey and Minnie in tropical attire surrounded by the resort's Maui mascot.
The pins are available for purchase at the Fantasia shop for $24.99 (Contemporary) and BoutTiki for the same price (Polynesian). Fans of Disney collectibles can now add these unique souvenirs to their pin collections, celebrating this special anniversary milestone.
