Disney Celebrates Unofficial Holiday at Guardians of the Galaxy Attraction

Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating September 21 as an unofficial holiday for its Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction at EPCOT. On this day, Earth, Wind and Fire's iconic song 'September' will play all day long.

The song will be part of the soundtrack during visitors' heroic chases through space on Starjumper vehicles. Additionally, Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, will make appearances at the attraction for meet-and-greets.

Visitors can also try a new beverage called Supernova Sip available exclusively on September 21 at Connections Café and Eatery. The drink consists of Spicy Hot Honey Syrup, Lemon Juice, Edible Glitter topped with Orange Cotton Candy, with an optional spirited version using Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
