Disney CEO D'Amaro Credits Fan Connections for Q3 Earnings Success
Disney's Q3 FY26 earnings have been released, and CEO Josh D'Amaro is optimistic about the company's performance. During his first five months in the role, D'Amaro has focused on executing a unified strategy across the company, which he says is paying off.
D'Amaro noted that Disney's 'fundamental advantage' is its deep connections with fans, and this translates to durable financial returns. He cited several examples of the company's strength, including a 4% year-over-year increase in global guests at Walt Disney World and a record-breaking performance by Toy Story 5 at the box office.
The success of Disney's franchise IP is also evident in its streaming service, Disney+. D'Amaro said that the platform has passed an important milestone with app unification, allowing Hulu standalone and bundle subscribers to link profiles and manage subscriptions on Disney+.
