Disney has abruptly closed The Ice Cream Company on Main Street in Disneyland Paris, effective immediately. This move marks an end to the shop's weekend-only schedule, which began on September 7.
The Ice Cream Company offered a range of treats, including Ben & Jerry's ice cream and hot chocolate. Although it shared space with Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour, which remains open, The Ice Cream Company operated independently. It is unclear whether Gibson Girl will continue to operate on weekends only or if it will expand its schedule.
Disneyland Paris has faced criticism in the past for offering less variety and higher prices compared to Disney's theme parks in the US and Asia. With winter approaching, some speculate that the park may limit its ice cream options during this time.
