Disney Consumer Products Moves to Entertainment Division
Disney is restructuring its consumer products business, moving most of it from Disney Experiences to Disney Entertainment. The change takes effect on October 4, 2026.
The global licensing and publishing businesses will be absorbed into Disney Entertainment - Studios, while Disney parks merchandise, Disney Store, and DisneyStore.com will remain under Disney Experiences.
Cathleen Taff has been appointed president of Disney Entertainment - Studios and Consumer Products, overseeing the incoming DCP licensing and publishing businesses. She continues to lead production services, franchise management, and theatrical distribution for Walt Disney Studios.
Lisa Baldzicki will continue leading the Disney parks merchandise business with expanded responsibility for global parks merchandise and Disney's owned-and-operated retail businesses.
