Macaulay Culkin, the original Kevin McCallister from the iconic Home Alone franchise, has reportedly met with Disney to discuss a new film in the series. The meeting is said to be about a reboot of the classic movies, which could see Culkin reprise his role as the resourceful youngster who defends his home against burglars.

Veteran entertainment journalist Matthew Belloni shared this information on his podcast 'The Town', stating that Disney is 'salivating' over the idea. He also mentioned that Culkin has an idea for a new Home Alone film, which could be a passion project if he were to team up with Disney.

Belloni noted that Home Alone is one of the top-streamed franchises every holiday season, making a reboot 'gigantic' for the studio. However, he also cautioned that it may not happen.
