Disney Cruise Line Blog Recaps Day Four on Western Caribbean Cruise
The Disney Cruise Line Blog's Scott Sanders documented his family's day four on their five-night Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Disney Destiny.
After a morning at sea, they stopped by Wheezy's Freezies and tried out the refreshed menu featuring boba soda. They also spotted an adorable new logo souvenir sipper with a DCL Wheezy strap topper that now lives in his daughter's dorm room.
The family continued their day at Fairytale Fresh Laundry, praising it as 'one of the best places on the Wish-class.' The single laundry facility on deck 8 is a welcome upgrade from previous Disney ships. Sanders expressed hope that one day they'll have a laundry dashboard in the DCL Navigator App.
They met up with their group for lunch at Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods and enjoyed pizza with blue cheese, unlike the gorgonzola on a previous Palo menu.
The day's entertainment included a matinee showing of Disney Hercules in the Walt Disney Theatre. Emily bought the Sam Eagle popcorn bucket, which cost only $2.50, and they later attended a group tea and scones gathering hosted by Tammy in her stateroom.
In the evening, they enjoyed dinner from the second rotational menu in Pride Lands, which had improved significantly since the first night's disappointing food. Sanders remains concerned about consistency across different cruises due to changing standards and processes.
