Disney Cruise Line Delivers on Community Support Across Southeast Alaska
The Walt Disney Company's commitment to community support extends far beyond its theme parks. Disney Cruise Line recently capped off its 2026 Alaska season by deepening its relationships with local organizations in Southeast Alaska, including events in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan.
Crew members from the Disney Wonder cruise ship joined forces with local groups to support military families, connect students with maritime professionals, and create opportunities for young Alaskans. In Skagway, they participated in a career conversation with Junior Achievement Alaska students on September 24. The following day, they attended a Coast Guard Families Appreciation Event in Juneau, where they recognized the service of Coast Guard members and families serving Alaska and the U.S. Arctic.
The events were part of a broader season of community involvement across Southeast Alaska, which saw Disney Cruise Line collaborate with local organizations to bring moments of happiness and support where needed most. Throughout 2026, Disney Cruise Line supported the Southeast Alaska Food Bank, including its work to provide weekend meals through Harborview Elementary School.
