Disney Cuts Hundreds More Jobs in Latest Round of Layoffs Under D'Amaro
The Walt Disney Company has begun another round of layoffs under CEO Josh D'Amaro, this time affecting around two hundred employees across various departments.
The reductions are primarily focused on technology and human resources staff, although Deadline reports that the entertainment television and motion picture studio units remain largely unaffected.
This marks the third round of layoffs since D'Amaro took over as CEO in March 2026, with previous cuts impacting around one thousand employees in April and several hundred more in July.
