Disney D23 Convention Reveals Exciting New Projects

Disney's largest fan convention, D23, held its Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim from August 14 to 16. The event featured numerous announcements and showcases for upcoming projects, including a reimagined Carousel of Progress at Walt Disney World Resort. Jamie Lee Curtis and Brian Cranston will voice Mother and Father in the revamped ride, set to open soon.

Spaceship Earth at EPCOT is also getting an update, with a new version centered on human connection. The Indiana Jones ride at Animal Kingdom has been named 'Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent,' and Harrison Ford will reprise his role as the legendary adventurer in this attraction.

In addition to these announcements, Disney revealed details about its Monstropolis area, set to open in phases at Hollywood Studios in 2027. The area will include a Monsters, Inc. door coaster, among other attractions. A Coco boat ride and Avengers Campus expansion were also announced for California Adventure and Disneyland Paris.
