Disney D23 Convention to Feature Cavalcade of Legends

Disney fans are in for a treat this August as the company hosts its D23 fan convention at the Anaheim Convention Center. The event will feature a Disney Legends Cavalcade on Main Street USA at Disneyland, which will bring together some of the industry's biggest names and longest-serving artists, actors, and musicians.

The cavalcade will take place on Thursday, August 13 at 1:30 p.m. as part of D23 Day. The Disney Legends Cavalcade is a nod to the company's tradition of honoring its most talented artists with the Disney Legend award, which recognizes those who have made significant and lasting contributions to Disney films, TV shows, music, and theme parks.

While Disneyland has not yet announced which Disney Legends will be in the cavalcade, the lineup of Legends taking part in D23 offers some hints. The event will feature 11 new inductees into the Disney Legend hall of fame, including ESPN's Chris Berman, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and actress Anne Hathaway.
