Disney D23: Upcoming Movies, Theme Park Expansions, and New Eats

This past weekend was one for the books as Disney enthusiasts gathered for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim. The three-day extravaganza wrapped up on Sunday, August 16th, and it was a whirlwind of panels, sneak peeks, and announcements that left fans buzzing with excitement.

The Entertainment Showcase at the Honda Center stole the show, featuring behind-the-scenes looks and exclusive footage from upcoming movies like Incredibles 3, Frozen 3, and Coco 2. But that was just the tip of the iceberg, Disney also revealed brand-new projects such as Marvel Studios' X-Men and Disney's Zootopia 3.

The panel for Disney Parks and Experiences delivered a plethora of details on anticipated projects, including the opening of Monstropolis in Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2027. The Villains Land area will feature two attractions, with one being a Maleficent-themed roller coaster. Other highlights include updates on rides and expansions coming to Disneyland Resort and a Spaceship Earth upgrade.

But that's not all, Dreamfinder is returning to EPCOT! And for those planning a trip to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, Disney released the full menus, which feature almost 100 new eats, treats, and drinks. The Halloween season has also officially arrived at Disneyland Resort with the Oogie Boogie Bash.
