Disney Ditches Tabasco for Tapatío at Quick Service Restaurants
Walt Disney World's quick service restaurants are switching up their hot sauce options. The popular condiment brand Tabasco is being replaced by Tapatío, a move that comes as part of a new corporate partnership.
The change was spotted at ABC Commissary in Disney's Hollywood Studios and is expected to roll out across the resort soon. According to reports, this switch is linked to Disney's long-term partnership with Kraft Heinz, which owns a distribution deal for Tapatío.
This change is part of a larger effort by Disney to revamp its condiment offerings. Guests can now pick up individual packets of Tapatío at the central condiment stations inside dining locations. In some restaurants, guests may also be able to create their own Heinz sauces using the Heinz Remix contraption.
