Disney Dreamers Academy Evolves into Year-Round Program for Middle School Students
Disney's Dreamers Academy is undergoing a significant transformation to reach students at an earlier age. The program, which was previously geared towards high school students, will now become a year-round, multi-year experience that starts with middle school students.
The first class of 200 middle school students from four cities - Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston - has been selected by the Boys & Girls Clubs in these locations. The program is designed to provide hands-on experiences, workshops, and interactive programming throughout the year, covering topics such as engineering and animal sciences.
Disney Cast Members and experts will lead the activities, which include connecting with mentors, building confidence and leadership skills, experiencing Disney at their local Boys & Girls Clubs, and visiting Walt Disney World. The goal is to meet students where they are and help them discover what's possible for their future at an earlier age.
