Disney Expands Dreamers Academy to Reach Younger Students Through New Partnership
The Walt Disney World Resort is expanding its Disney Dreamers Academy through a new collaboration with Boys & Girls Clubs. The program, which has been running for nearly two decades, will now become a year-round initiative that reaches students at a younger age.
Under the new model, Disney Dreamers Academy will serve middle school members of participating Boys & Girls Clubs in Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston. The first class will include 200 students selected by participating Boys & Girls Clubs, with programming scheduled to begin in January 2027.
The program will provide a combination of virtual and in-person experiences for students, including hands-on activities, workshops, and interactive sessions led by Disney Cast Members and other experts. Career exploration will cover fields such as engineering and animal sciences, and students will also have access to mentors and fellow Dreamers.
