Disney Expands Partnership with Filmmaker Shawn Levy Through New Overall Deal

Disney has solidified its partnership with filmmaker and producer Shawn Levy through a new multiyear overall deal with 20th Television. This agreement will see Levy develop and produce series across Disney's global portfolio of leading platforms and brands.

The deal marks a continuation of Levy's long-standing creative relationship with Disney, which spans over two decades. He has directed episodes for the Disney Channel series The Famous Jett Jackson and produced Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day for Walt Disney Pictures.

Levy's production company, 21 Laps Entertainment, will work closely with 20th Television to produce new television series. Levy has expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership, stating that he feels a 'kindred spirit' in Disney and their storytelling ethos.
