Disney Fans Disappointed by Magic of Disney Animation Design

The Magic of Disney Animation has finally opened in Disney's Hollywood Studios, but some fans are expressing disappointment with its design. While the outdoor courtyard area was open to guests for months prior, the rest of the land soft-opened a few days early for visitors to explore.

The courtyard area is a highlight, featuring character statues and roaming characters that evoke a vintage MGM/Disney vibe. Instagram user @meetthemiethes praised the area, saying 'I don't know how many times I'll partake of the experience but what I will say is this and the courtyard have that vintage MGM/ Disney vibe.'

However, fans are divided on the new attractions within The Magic of Disney Animation. Some feel it's a collection of smaller experiences rather than an actual ride, while others appreciate the variety of meet-and-greets available at Off The Page! Facebook user Katie Mazzuca pointed out that the Drawn to Wonderland playground has limited sightlines for watching children, making supervision challenging.

The main complaint from fans is the lack of live animators in Olaf Draws!, which features a video and animatronic experience. Users Jaime Lee Ogle and Laci Jo Michels suggested rotating live artists with the video ones to offer the best of both worlds.
