Pixar's Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter took the stage to announce several upcoming projects, including The Incredibles 3, set to hit theaters in June 2028. The film will focus on Violet and Dash Parr as they take center stage and show their hero skills.
Docter also announced Coco 2, a sequel to the original Coco film. Benjamin Bratt, who reprises his role as Ernesto de la Cruz, shared that the story will take place a few years after the original and that de la Cruz is seeking vengeance against a teenage Miguel.
The world of Coco will also be featured in Kingdom Hearts IV, which is set to include Sora and his allies visiting the Mexican Land of the Dead. Additionally, a new anime series based on the game is heading to Disney Channel and Disney+.
