Disney Files Permit for Adventureland Construction at Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World has filed a permit for general construction in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom. The permit, which was submitted on September 21, 2026, expires on August 31, 2028.
The permit is linked to MLC Theming, Inc., a company that specializes in scenic painting and aging of structures, as well as fabricating facades and carving rock work.
While the permit specifically mentions the Adventureland Popcorn Cart at 4851 Caribbean Way, it's unclear if this is the sole focus of the construction. MLC Theming was also listed on a permit for The Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom last month.
